Florida rules, bands rule, the punk rock kids rule and most of all Fest rules!
Best sites so far: A man dressed as a gorilla stage diving holding hands with a man dressed as a banana during The Bouncing Souls set. Seeing Less Than Jake play Gainesville Rock City in Gainesville Rock City. I've got some sight seeing I've got to do, finding locations listed in various LTJ songs. The band Cheeky, find their myspace and enjoy! Finding out that no matter where you are, you can probably bum a smoke or a cheap beer from someone as long as you pay it forward. Seeing Paint It Black play inside of a U-Haul in a parking lot across the street from The Venue(a more stupid and confusing name they couldn't have come up with...), seeing three songs, kids stage diving off the top of the U-Haul into the crowd, and then having the mounted police break up the show. These weren't mounties, they were tools. But best of all, not checking in until 3:30 in the morning, finding out they were going to give away my room, they didn't have any more rooms with king beds like I ordered, so now I've got a massive suite with a nice television and it all overlooks the swamps. No gators yet.
I have to find coffee, food and a lighter. I think lighter is priority one right now, followed by coffee. Food's easy, there's official and unoffical barbeques all over the place, both vegan friendly and not so much.
